Bayaguana

Bayaguana is a municipality of the Monte Plata province in the Dominican Republic. The municipality has an estimation of 40’000 inhabitants, of which 20’000 resided in urban areas and 13’771 in rural areas. This small city was founded in 1606, when Spain resettled colonists from the northern and western part of Hispaniola closer to Santo Domingo. It has one of the most beautiful rivers existing in the Dominican Republic. It is called Comate river

Boca Chica

Boca Chica is a municipality of the Santo Domingo province in this beautiful island. It is located only 35 minutes away from the capital and only 25 minutes from the Santo Domingo international airport. It has an estimation of 100’000 inhabitants. This small town was originally developed by Juan Bautista Vicini. He was a business man who established sugar plantations there in the early twentieth century. Boca Chica beach has immaculate fine sand. You can walk in the water and the depth will barely change, the water will be to your waist all the time. It is the most family friendly of all the Dominican Beaches.

Isla saona

Saona Island (in Spanish Isla Saona) is a tropical island located a short distance from the mainland on the south-east tip of the Dominican Republic, near La Altagracia Province. It is a government protected nature reserve and is part of East National Park (in Spanish Parque Nacional del Este). It is an excellent place for people who love the nice beaches.

Pico Duarte

Pico Duarte is the highest peak in all the Caribbean islands. It lies in the Cordillera Central range, the greatest of the Dominican Republic's mountain chains. The Cordillera Central extends from the plains between San Cristóbal and Baní to the northwestern peninsula of Haiti, where it is known as Massif du Nord. The highest elevations of the Cordillera Central are found in the Pico Duarte and Valle Nuevo massifs.There is a well-maintained system of trails leading up to the summit, with trailheads at several locations (see topo map for their final stretches to the summit). The easiest access is from the town of La Ciénega, near Jarabacoa. The trail is 23.1 km (14.4 mi) to the summit, with a total elevation change of 1,977 meters, and a shelter 5 km away from the summit. Tourist-friendly travel agencies in the town of Jarabacoa can help arrange trips from this trailhead, using mules in their employ to help lug food, sleeping bags and supplies for the overnight stay in the shelter.

Constanza

Constanza is a town in Las Vegas Province. The name of Constanza has its origin in the legend of the Daughter of a local Taino cacique whom lived in the valley. In 1852 the British explorer and consul Sir Robert Hermann Schomburgk mentions the existence of a farm in the valley of Constanza. The town was formally founded in 1894. On September 9, 1907 the town was incorporated into a municipality in the province of La Vega. Constanza has a subtropical Highland climate with moderately warm and humid summers, and dry and mild winters. It is one of the coldest cities in the Dominican Republic. Constanza is known for its remarkable mountain climate despite being located in a tropical island. Local tourism is very often during winter time. It has one of the nearest routes to the Pico Duarte which is the highest mountain of the Caribbean. Its incredible Airport makes this town even more reachable.

Santa Barbara de Samana

Santa Barbara de Samana is a city and municipality in northeastern of the Dominican Republic. It is also capital of Samana Province. San Felipe Puerto Plata

San Felipe de Puerto Plata is the capital of the province Puerto Plata. This beautiful city is famous for its resorts such as Playa Dorada and Costa Dorada and it is estimated that the city of Puerto Plata has around 100’000 hotel beds. This interesting city has the only Aerial Tramway in the Caribbean which allows the public to ride up to Pico Isabel Torres, which is a 793 meter high mountain located in the city. Some of the best attractions of the city are its beaches, the Fortaleza San Felipe, which was built in the 16th century and served as a prison under the dictator Rafael Trujillo. The amber museum is also well-known for its beauty. The city is prominent in the activities of agribusiness and tourism. The port frequently receives cruise chips as well as general bulk freighters. One of the best Carnivals celebrated in the Dominican Republic and maybe in the Caribbean is celebrated in this city. It dates from the end of the 19th century.

San Pedro de Macoris

San Pedro de Macoris is a municipality and the capital of the San Pedro de Macoris province in the DominicanRepublic. This incredible city has an estimated population of 250'000 inhabitants.It was founded in the late 19th century by Cubans. Some of the most famous poets are from this small twon. Writters like Rene del Risco, Pedro Mir. The city is famous for its passion on Baseball. It is home of the Estrellas Orientales who play in the Dominican Winter Baseball League. San Pedro is well-known as the birthplace of a disproportionate number of professional baseball players. There are 76 players in the Major League of Baseball.

La Romana

This big city is the third largest city in the Dominican Republic. Its population is around 250'000 inhabitants. La Romana is the capital of the Southeastern province of La Romana. La Romana International Airport is the third bigger airport in the country and it is only located 10 minutes away from downtown The city is a hug for a  growing tourist industry with several nearby local resort spots like Bahaybe, Dominicus and Casa de Campo. La Romana is the home of one of the largest business in the country, Central Romana Corporation which owns the majority of the town. La Romana is well known for the amount of famous Baseball players that come from this big town.

Higuey

Higuey is the capital city of the Eastern province of La Altagracia. It is one of the economically fastest- develiping cities in the country and named the Capital of the Dominican Tourism because is located 30 minutes away from Punta Cana. It has an estimation of 150'000 inhabitants. The city is the place for living of almost all the workers working in hotels or exxcursion of the area Punta Cana. The most important monument in the city are the Basilica of La Altagracia, and the church of San Dionisio.
